1 Description of the Service
SherlockGames (the "Service"), operated by SherlockGames, is a lateral thinking puzzle game in which the player tries to solve a hidden scenario by asking an AI judge only yes/no questions.
2 Anonymous Usage
You do not need to create an account with a name, email, or phone number; you play with a server-generated guest identity. Settings → Delete My Data deletes the guest account and associated app data. An active subscription started through Apple may continue to renew after account deletion and must also be cancelled in App Store subscription settings.
3 Limits of the AI Judge
Answers to your questions and solution guesses are generated by an AI model and are probabilistic — they may be wrong, inconsistent, or unexpected. The judge's score, "solved" determination, and leaderboard results are final; no appeal mechanism is provided.
4 Free Usage and Premium
The Service offers free and Premium access. Rewarded ads are disabled in the first App Store release; when a free entitlement limit is reached, only the Premium alternative is shown. Premium subscriptions, renewals, and refunds are governed by Apple App Store rules; purchases can be restored in the app, while management and refunds are handled by Apple.
5 Prohibited Use
The following are prohibited:
- Using the Service via bots or automation tools,
- Abusing the API or attempting to bypass rate limits,
- Bulk-scraping or sharing puzzle solutions,
- Attempting to manipulate the leaderboards.
6 User Content
Your questions, hint requests, and solution guesses are processed and stored to operate the Service. Harassment, hate speech, sexual content, violence or threats, spam, and unlawful content are prohibited in social/co-op areas. You can report content and block users. We may remove reported content, suspend an account, and retain abuse records for audit purposes. See the Privacy Policy for details.
7 Intellectual Property
The case texts, solutions, app design, and content belong to SherlockGames. They may not be copied, distributed, or used commercially without permission.
8 Suspension / Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access if we determine you have violated these terms. We reserve the right to discontinue the Service, in whole or in part, without prior notice.
9 Limitation of Liability and Disclaimer
The Service is provided "as is"; no warranty is given that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or incidental damages arising from use of the Service.
10 Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkey. Turkish courts and enforcement offices have jurisdiction over any disputes.
11 Changes to These Terms
